Prakash is a native of Rishikesh – the birthplace of Yoga. For over ten years, Prakash studied at many of India's most illustrious Yoga Schools and under renowned Yoga Masters Shri O. P. Tiwari and Swami Rama. In that time, Prakash gained deep knowledge and insight into Yogic Philosophy through the study of various traditional text on Hatha and Raja Yoga, Vedic scriptures and modern science.
For the last sixteen years, Prakash has been using traditional Himalayan methods to teach Yoga and Meditation across Asia.
Prakash was a senior yoga teacher at Pure Yoga Singapore for nearly a decade. He has conducted numerous Yoga Teacher Trainings, Yoga Retreats, Workshops, Meditation seminars and camps across Asia including Macau, Hong-Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines to preach this ancient practice and has trained numerous Asian celebrities.
Prakash believes that Yoga is the key to unlocking self-realisation and happiness in life. His teaching method focuses on bringing body and mind together in unity through breathing, postures and mindfulness.
While Prakash has a deep knowledge of various Yoga techniques, he specializes in Yoga Postures, Yogic breathing patterns, deep relaxation methodsPranayama, Yogic Sukshma Vyamas, Yogic cleansing process for internal cleansing and Meditation.
Yogi Shanker has been practicing yoga since his childhood. His family is closely associated with great saints and Yogis of India. After initiated into the Himalayan Yoga Tradition of Himalayan Yogis in an early age, he obtained a teachers training certificates. He holds ERYT200 and RYT500 from Yoga Alliance USA.
He also holds a Masters degree in Yogic Science and working on his PhD in Yoga Philosophy. He had also taught yoga in many Yoga Centers around the globe and leading health SPAs. He has worked as a Yoga teachers, adviser and consultant of well-known 5 star Hotel and Spa-wellness center The Mount Calam Club in London, United Kingdom.
He has been invited in China and other parts of SE Asia many times to hold retreats, workshops and conferences on Yoga and Ayurveda.
He has studied with many world renowned Yoga Masters of India and received their blessings.
He is an expert in Yoga Philosophy and meditation teachings. He is also invited to conduct workshops for corporate and yoga teachers on practice of meditation and stress management along with Ayurveda practices for total wellbeing.
Sujata is a Certified Yoga Instructor with more than fifteen years of teaching experience in the United States, Indonesia, Singapore and India. She is registered with the International Yoga Alliance as an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher as well as a provider for continuing education in yoga. She has led numerous corporate trainings, classes, workshops, teacher trainings and seminars on a wide range of topics related to wellness including yoga, meditation and mindfulness. She holds dual post-graduate diplomas in Complementary Health (England) and Mass Communications (India).
